  • Fingerprinted and background-checked for safety and trust
  • Complete 60-hour, in-house training followed by intensive, 1-month “apprenticeship”

Kick It California & YVAPE

Kick It California began as the California Smokers' Helpline in 1992 for smoking cessation and has helped more than 1 million Californians. The program has been shown to double a smoker's chance of quitting for good. In 2019, we launched a vaping-specific coaching protocol.

YVAPE began in 2020 and is run by the same dedicated staff from Kick It California who apply strategies gained from many years of experience helping teens stop using tobacco products.

Today KIC provides cessation services to people who want to quit tobacco or nicotine and young people (12-29) who wish to quit marijuana.

If you want help with quitting vaping once you complete YVAPE, check out our vaping resources.
